Any old SATA SSD will beat HDD in loading content. Most importantly is to pick the reliable ones.

Anyway, moving into the future. SSD will become an official minimum requirement for games.

Get reliable SSD like Samsung 870 SATA 1TB around $149 with 5 years warranty.
Cheap SSD like the amazon question is the reliability, how fast will it wear out?
Between NVME and SATA the difference isn't very obvious unless you are doing
lots of file transfer.
Games wise both are fine but get a reliable one with DRAM like the Samsung 870.

if your mobo is b550 then 2nd nvme ssd slot should be PciE 3.0.

can look for 10.10 crucial P3 1TB/2TB promo.

P3 is 3500/3000 - PciE3.0 max speed.

If sata SSD, can look at crucial mx500 2tb
if you willing to use pcie adapter, you can open up options to nvme

Wrong liao lah you.
You are suppose to get a Bui Bui HDD and then use StoreMI.

Then you can download your Bui Bui Steam Library into the HDD and your SSD will be Cache.

price wise is p3

spec wise is 980

if mobo support pcie3 > p3

mobo support pci4 >980

gaming loading diff by few milimili sec.

I also recommend mx500 and perhaps wait for 10.10 official store promotion.

sata ssd is good with cooler temperature during gaming compared to nvme drive.

mine mx300 still got 99% with 13k hours usage till now as gaming drive.

also gaming with SSD improved significantly on shader download and loading.
