She told me she very angry with the increase in costs of living.. everything becoming so expensive.. She told me go ntuc buy can food used to be $1.80, now $3 just within 1+ year...

I think costs of living is one major problem... imagine the increase in GST kicks in.. no joke.

The boundary was clearly drawn to give PAP an advantaged as per the writing. As what we already knew, PAP know how each polling station voted and draw accordingly. The previous high percentage of win by PAP could be attributed to voters rejecting the previous opposition (except for Punggol East as the result was close). That's why I feel Tampines is ripe for the picking. The same with Pasir-ris Punggol. WP need to up their recruitment drive, and start their selection and training of candidates. Perform due diligence to screen them.

Yes pmet issue is more felt in younger estates than older estates

Not surprised. Punggol East and sengkang Central were the ones moved in late 1990s. No improvement at all in terms of hawker centre and provision shops. Filled with hdbs, also they hate wasting land for childcare center and bus interchange beside compass one. Food typically 30 percent higher.
