Nowadays it is harder to use tactics such as spreading falsehood, character assassination and smear campaign with 158th media. The 158th media is itself getting irrelevant.

Plus bread and butter issues such as high cost of living (housing cost, healthcare, food). Job instability(****, economy disruption and job discrimination).

Punggol could be the next. WP could start to do ground work in that area.

From Malay friends. The whole community was very upset with PAP for kicking up a fuss over the Raeesah issue.

The Berita Harian report on on Raeesah was factual, non opinion, and only found in one day. Where as Strait Times spent a few days and editorial on Raeesah. It is a very sensitive issue.

Possibly almost all malay votes went to WP.

Yes, Malay voters some of them voted for her because of bullying issues.

Normally Malay people very chill, but bully one of their own with dirty and gutter politics the same age- these translate into votes.

Young people don't like these type of things too, especially to somebody around their age.

Yes, Mr. Jamus Lim was shockingly good and somebody who proved to be capable to translate sound and rationale policies from his debates.

Giving the viewpoint that what said was true, the Opposition are fielding people of calibre.

The Raeesah Khan incident just showed what we didn't like about the PAP, under the belt trying to fix somebody of our generation who could have gone to school together with, and well, bullying and highhandedness with disconnect to the ground. And what she voiced out was true, there IS underlying racism on the ground; she spoke up for the minorities and was silenced and fixed. The minorities had her back. Young people are more idealistic and SJW, of course. She became a silent Mockingjay?

Certain policies I think we can see and understand the bigger picture, and see it is as a trade off, like giving up free speech for stability- but bullying. No.

New GRC based on electoral boundary but Sengkang is not a new estate. It is like you give your old phone a new cover but technically your phone is not new.

PAP thought they can win by redrawing boundaries. But this time they really outsmart themselves.

I respect VB on his own and the cards he had to dealt with.

I thought wealth tax from Dr.Chee personally was a very good point- although wrong time, wrong contention point at Holland-Bukit Timah.

The slight tipping of the hat and admiration he had for Mr.Lim when he spoke in economics terms, more capital; viable information that can be constructive and solid feedback, in lite-form was good enough for me.

I've heard Dr.Vivian's other speech in the international front in BBC; he's earned my respect for refusal of below-the-belt when entraced by bigger countries in Singapore for clickbaity, national interest wide and controversial speech.
