At least 150k? I wouldn't want them to auto upgrade me, will miss out on welcome bonuses.

Previously had more than $150k but didnt upgrade. Then stock market crash, now abt $100k then secretly upgrade, without sms or email notification.

at that time u may have already been upgraded to priority.. thats why sometimes seem like you receiving 2-3 times SCB email in a day, because the other one is for priority .. if priority email at the bottom will have your RM name and phone number

they will sure call u at least once after u have been upgraded.. sure want to sell some stuff .. my 1 asked me y i got 3 esaver accs lol.. dont know what to reply

That would explain the sudden spams. I deleted all of them and disabled it, so far so good. But i nvr receive any scb call, hope can kena a sweet voice. Or maybe ** they cannot kajiao me. Just tell your rm u using the esaver accs for different purposes. I am going to open isavvy-i next week saying it's a fund for my parents.

What is so good about being their priority if u are not into their welcome gift? In any way to get their welcome gift it seems to tie one down for 6 months. It is really long..

Or u mean u previously have 100k holding with them for a long period of time such that they recognise u as priority?

i also no 200k but they upgraded mine to priority also.. except my tradingacc still not reflecting no min comm

No, fresh funds must be additional cash. My equity with scb r mostly shares, which r subjected to market value. I cant find any info about the late mar promo as mentioned.

I guess maybe they flag all accounts that exceed 150K and increasing, then they can save on the $500-800 welcome gift by preemptively upgrading you .

if the month got 30 days... u 29 days $1000 just 1 day dont have $1000 also cannot

abt 4-5yrs ago if go open a fd account with 50k, they will auto upgrade you

you will always get calls from wealth manager to discuss abt new products

Q for priority still have to wait a while but still shorter than normal Q.

Not like HSBC where they serve all the premier customers first than the normal Q.

buffer more no use, u have to permanently keep $1000 in the account throughout the month.

e.g. if the month 30 days but last day then you transfer in the money to avoid the fall below fee.. u need to buffer for $30,000.
