Thanks for sharing :) My July ADB is $1k (minimum sum to maintain the eSaver account). Aug ADB is many times above July ADB. Somehow got screwed by SC. I have moved out my money out of this difficult eSaver crap and given up on SC. Their customer service is non-existent! I guess they only service priority banking customers.
No point venting in this manner because the bank wins because they don't have to pay you interest & don't have to deal with a difficult customer with a system bug they may have.

Call the general line and ask them to check, the wait time is usually a lot shorter vs the local banks.

Also, to clarify July ADB is for the whole month of July not just end-July balance. Also, how did you fund the account, was it from another SCB account or from another bank?

There is only that many banks in Spore. Perhaps speak to a live agent instead. Also did you all in into SCB? If yes I can understand your frustrations. For me personally I never all in to any investment including such promo to prevent heartache like your case when disqualify etc.

Hope you get your bonus soon.

I'm a Priority Banking customer. They recently locked my account for no reason and said it will be locked for 60 days. With this, I will withdraw all my cash and they have forever lost me as a customer.

guess that why some ppl still prefer FD with a bit lower interest than all these High yield saving accounts. at least FD totally black and white.

Which is why I always preach diversification. Some put FD, some put high yield savings account. But readers are greedy and they like casino table gambler all in concept. Previous RHB casa promo a few readers declared they all in. See it is this action that may cause the downfall some day or other. But in this aspect it is just no bonus interest whereas casino gambler is lose capital so I guess it is the lesser evil.

But what's the case for FDs versus SSB or T-bills right? Both are locked in and quite transparent.

More about people who are just more comfortable doing things in person at the bank even if it takes much longer and yields less.

Ssb lock in is only until the following mth.

Fd lock in depends on bank. Some banks give prorated interest if u withdraw early

Existing payees which were previously set up
I just went in to check. Only one payee was deleted from my list - The Cimb fastsaver account (added in end july 23). The rest created more than months are still intact.

I also discovered that one can delete payee using the mobile app. The previous time was they had this delete payee option but not ready when I tried. However, I could delete one payee (Uob account number which I had closed). Not sure whether the missing payee/s was linked to this update though
