cos they keep lowering interest rates for the past few rounds already ..

imho, nothing to do with this bank. falling interest rates has been the general trend in singapore lately. also, the gradual strengthening of sing dollar from 1.45 to 1.39 per usd gives the authorities more leeway to keep the rates low.

Fresh funds usually means must come from another bank's a/c, unless I'm wrong. Just transfer the money out and in again?

Hi, just to check if the $1m cap for the 1.3% interest is applicable regardless how many eSaver accounts you have? Meaning for example, if you have 2 eSaver accounts and both have $1m inside, both accounts will earn the 1.3% interest?

no one from bank contact me after tat..a/c open successfully

Agreed, there wasn't anyone that contacted me from the bank.

On a side note, ever since I've started opening 2 esavers account, I'm unable to tally my bonus interest i.e. it seems lower than expected. I've put in less than 50k but it seems like the amount collected is giving less than 0.7%.

Has anyone here checked their savings interest rates on their eSavers acc?

was told by someone in the bank that even when you transfer funds from one esaver account to another esaver account, you will still get the bonus interest.

has anyone tried that?
