Sure chum!!:s12:Even the 2019 final dividend was flushed down the toilet.:s22:

The Board of Standard Chartered PLC decided after careful consideration to withdraw the recommendation to pay a final dividend for 2019 of 20 cents per ordinary share.

Not surprise at all. If u look at the historical chart. It is at the base of the valley

Good point and wonder why they are not updating the tnc (especially on their website) early. They definitely can do better in this aspect unless this is part of their plan.:s11:

fyi, I don't even get the paper mailer. So I've to do last minute scramble to get better rates.:(

the paper mailer comes in the middle of the month, by then you already lost out on around 2 weeks of interest rates if you only depend on it.

after setting 200K aside for cimb and cimb-i, still left money in esaver so to park where? HSBC??

you can consider dbs fixed deposit for 49,999 at 10 months for 1.10% p.a or 12 months for 1.15% p.a

Sorry to disappoint you. Bonus Saver cut wef Jul already announced.

Jumpstart also cut to 1% wef Jul.

https://www.sc.com/sg/important-information/interestrateupdate/

No worries, mate! Thanks for the heads up.:)

Based on the new July BonusSaver interest structure, out of 3.00% interest, 1.7% goes to investment and insurance categories. Looks like SCB is pushing hard on investment and insurance.:(

Interest revision risks now from DBS Multiplier and HSBC Step up?

You can consider maybank isavvy or hong leong isavings, but it is better to wait for updated news for next months before you decide :)

Emptied all accounts, Good bye SCB.... was good while it lasted :o
Thanks for the convenience of allowing direct transfers between own account and still eligible for bonus interests over the years

Is it too early to bid farewell? Looks like the saving interest market is going south together. Maybe for now, it might not be attractive compared to other accts but soon catch up will take place. No bank will continue to pay atrociously higher interest to savers when the loan interests have also drop.

Anyone transferred fund from esaver ac 1 to esaver ac 2 on 31/5?

I did that on 31/5 after the interest was credited on 30/5, thinking 30/5 could be the day when ADB will be used for May. But i realised SCB has debited a few cents of interest from my esaver ac 1 and credited the same amt to my esaver 2.

Does it mean my esaver ac 2’s ADB for May is not 0 anymore? And I have spoilt my chance to earn bonus interest for Jun and Jul? :~(
