But if you read further, and I quote from the website:

"From now till 31 August 2022, earn up to 1.50% p.a. interest on eligible deposit balance of S$1 million with no lock-in period when you bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to July 2022’s average daily balance)"

I hope it is a typo error, and nothing more.

Now it reads:

From now till 30 September 2022, earn up to 1.50% p.a. interest on eligible deposit balance of S$1 million with no lock-in period when you bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to July 2022’s average daily balance)

https://www.sc.com/sg/save/savings-accounts/esaver/
If you care.

If placing 75k (not higher, not lower), on 1 Sep move to CIMB fastsaver for 1.53%.

75k for CIMB.

Those not on esaver exclusive invitation ie normal esaver don't need 100k.

Oic.. so normal esaver is 1.5%p.a. till Sep only, but exclusive invitation need 100k, but get 1.8%p.a. and till Mar..

anyone with invitation can clarify my query? I was reading the tnc from the invitation email, only stated end day on 31/8 need 100k more than the end day on 31/07 to qualify. Then moving into Sep, can be lesser than 100k, but still get 1.8%p.a.? Or what is the minimum required for this promo to still be valid from Aug to Mar?

Asking coz if have better IR elsewhere, probably will just park minimum here as required

1.8% seems to be the special invitation rate, for "commoners" like me it is 1.5% pa
did you check the app inbox? I'm not sure but I don't even keep a lot with them, only the min. yet I also got invited...

Better show the email and ask your RM check again. From my experience, RM usually are not very "knowledgeable" on these promotions, coz they only interested to sell structured products or unit trusts only 😅 or u may be better of just contacting the call center for such promo

Lol.. Go ahead and try.. see if yours will be hardworking to go understand something that don't really benefit them much, other than to make u happy and hopefully buy something more from him/her

My experience with priority r/s with few different banks all almost the same, e.g. had changed few RM alr in SCB and all gave me same vibes.. sometimes I paisei to ask them too, coz if don't buy something from them, like waste their time.. usually I just online chat with CSO, but these CSO also smart, when they have questions they don't know and need to check, if they saw I have a RM, they will ask if it's ok to ask my RM contact me.. like push the ball to someone else 🤣🤣

I meant we as customer still have to be reasonable la..

The main reason I prefer them to RM is CSO usually more exposed to promotion details, maybe more people ask them and it's their main duty to ans these queries, so it's much quicker getting an answer. RM every single thing u ask them, they usually don't know and will need to check and get back.

Precisely CSO know more and may take lower pay than RM make them dulan so direct you back to RM. But from your perspective you are right to get answer from CSO. That fight is between CSO and RM and we not interested just that their fight can affect we as customers in getting our answers. Ding dong us to and fro is so frustrating.
