last time can, now cannot or harder to do so.. u can read all 100+ pages got ppl talking abt it few times before..

but this kind do at ur own risk cos by right the bank can claw back the interest anytime if they really wanted to.

3.8% is the published rate open to everyone. The invite is to priority customers at a rate higher than this published rate which they send by email.

yea but other banks normal acc interest rates usually not as high..
in the past ppl rotated with maybank isavvy because the rates and the way they work very similar.. except they like purposely overlap on the months so u cant easily in and out between maybank/SC

a few days ago, someone posted here that he got the 3.5% invite. Now the public rate is 3.8% (which is higher than the 3.5% invite), you expecting another invite higher than 3.8% in Dec 2022? :D

I guess the higher than 3.8% invite (if it ever take place) will depend on the Dec FED meeting announcement

Do you get the email in your normal inbox or the inbox in the SC app?

From what I know, invited customers, dont have to worry about about this 3 month cycle, fresh funds. They just get the high interest rate that is published. :)

I am not too sure as I received email invite before but this new promotion requires Fresh fund and comparing to Nov ADB (my email invite does not need all these). I do have existing funds there already so I wonder whether my funds is eligable or not....

I have the 2.8% invite based on average daily balance. will I be eligible for this new 3.8%? if yes, is the 3.8% also for my average daily balance as well? or follow the public which is only for incremental fresh funds only?

read clause 5

Notwithstanding Clause 4 above, in the event that the bank offers to the Bank’s other customers holding Eligible Account(s), a bonus interest rate higher than Bonus Interest Rate (“Higher Bonus Interest Rate”) for any e$aver bonus interest promotion, indicated on our website as open to all Eligible Account(s) held during the Bonus Interest Earning Period, your Bonus Interest for that month will be computed at such Higher Bonus Interest Rate, subject to these terms.

Looks like SCB has many different targeted letters, send out over different months. The one I have seen is for 14 months and does not mention fresh funds at all but has the clause 5 too.

My email is slightly different but I read it’s the same clause but I still not 100% sure. I will probably call tomorrow to ask on it.
