From now till 31 May 2023, earn up to 3.80% p.a. interest on eligible deposit balance of S$2 million with no lock-in period when you bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to March 2023 average daily balance)

If take existing SCB April cash transfer to Bank A, then transfer to Bank B and back to SCB. Will this consider as incremental fresh funds? :o
Dun understand. It is based on march 23 adb. If u earn incremental fresh fund interest in Apr 23, just leave it there. No need to do anything to get may 23 incremental fresh fund interest. If u DUN get any fresh fund incremental interest in apr23, regardless how u transfer and put the same fund back, it won’t help.

SCB valued incoming transfer on same day including weekends and PH.
I always do my banking during business hours, ie day time, no Sunday or Public Holidays. I dun have to remember each bank's cutoff time, which is tough to remember.
It is your money, do your own due diligence!

My banking practice do not require me to know as I live more, bank less!
Mind you, interest was calculated and credited on 29 April! Good Luck to you!

Dun wish to waste my time on this matter or any other matters!

Hi all,

Interest and bonus interest credited on 29 Apr 2023. If you use the mobile app, transactions details does not show the interest posting although the balance does include the posted interest.

But if you use browser, transaction details shows the interest posting.

This issue happened after the revamp of their mobile app. Now I cannot rely on mobile app and always have to login to browser as I cannot be sure if there are transactions that I cannot see.

Please help to feedback this to Standard Chartered. It is ridiculous that mobile app cannot be trusted.

Another issue is if you temporarily block your credit card, the card totally disappear like it never exist. Can't check transactions or check due date. Other banks with this feature will block but the card details still appear as usual.

I have the same issue. Not only that, the new app gives a black screen during authentication with browser login. Need offline OTP to login.

Anyone else have this issue ? Had no such issues with the old app.

No issue for authentication.

Maybe try if this works. Make sure your SC mobile app is closed completely at the time of authentication. Use the notification to open.

Wow! You sound offended. :ROFLMAO:
Wonder why you bother to respond to my post that SCB valued incoming transfer on same day including weekends and PH? If such info is not useful to you, it does not necessary mean it is not useful to others.

I must have missed your evidence. May I know where I can view them? I stand to be corrected on SCB value date for incoming transfers on weekends and PH.

My SCB eSaver transaction history indicated value date: 30 April (Sunday) and 1 May (PH) for my 30 April and 1 May incoming transfers with posting date 2 May. So may I know what does that mean?

How did you arrive at this strong conviction/conclusion in the first place?

Ya. I generally got the black screen when I din log out my mobile properly which I do not usually have such habit. What I did was just hard close the scb app and login to webpage desktop version again and it works normal

From the Value Date stated on my eSaver transaction history. Isn't that good enough?

Are you saying that the eSaver bonus interest calculation is not based on SCB Value Date as stated on eSaver transaction history and you have evidence to show this is the case?
If yes, I'm prepared to ask my SCB RM to help claw back the bonus interest shortfall. It would be helpful if you can confirm this with evidence.

Halo,
On the SCB value date conversations, I just did a transfer and it shows below (alignment a bit out):

DATE TRANSACTION
02/05/2023 FAST(OTHR)
(VALUE DATE: 01/05/2023)

Yup! This is what showed up on my transaction too. Likewise for many 30 April (Sunday) incoming transfer, it showed Value Date: 30/04/2023.
@royalmix seems to suggest that based on his past experience, the bonus interest calculation is not based on value date i.e. 30 April and 1 May incoming transfers will be treated as 2 May (working day). Waiting for his kind confirmation. ;)

I already shared, dun transfer money in on Sunday and Public Holiday!
Yes, I only saw it after I transferred. :D But I'm still unsure of the transaction meaning. Does the value date showing there (01/05/2023) means the interest starts today onwards?
