Yes and quote the reference number so they can cross check on their end your request is about what. Be nice and humble and not sarcastic else they can remove your post.

Can close account now and open again tomorrow.

New Customer” refers to an individual who opens at least one current/cheque account(s), and/or savings account(s) and/or time deposit(s) (“Deposits Relationship“) as the primary account holder, with the Bank during the Promotion Period, but does not include an individual who maintains or had maintained a Deposits Relationship as the primary account holder with the Bank within the past twelve (12) months from the date of commencement of the Promotion Period;

U under which category? Totally new to bank (excluding credit cards) or previously had acct with them but > 12 mths ago or.......?

I have account with them but only the securities settlement account tag to the settlement savings account. So no eSaver in my account I can see. I also forgotten if I have eSaver account with them before or have closed it. Forgot to ask too.

So I ask the CSO, she checked and say don have account. Ask me try go to app and click apply now 4% and wait for the outcome. But I haven apply yet.

What's the meaning 'wait for outcome?' Is it after apply, it will prompt whether eligible anot? Or just proceed to apply & deposit then end month/beginning next month check whether got bonus or not?

1st time heard of "settlement savings account". What is the name of the scb acct u use to transfer out from scb?

oh, must be a totally new customer to standchart bank. :(

those with existing Esaver, on 1st June, just bring a cheque for S$200k to deposit into Esaver on condition that they give you interests of 4% or 4.3%. Most likely will get it.

Current & Savings: Securities settlement account
Both accounts cannot be used to transfer money out of scb.
U rarely trade using scb or never transfer money out?

Weird.. i more than 5 years never trade with this account liao.. so sell trades giro to my DBS linked to CDP...
