penalty is just lose interest am i right? I was thinking 3 mths is very short, unlikely stock market will plunge? :)

p/s: so it's 2 months vs 3 months. how i wish esaver and isaavy can change it to 3 or 4 mths. every 2 months need to transfer is really a hassle.
No. DBS charge a penalty. Not just lose interest

if one can park for 3 mths and confirm don't need to touch, may as well go for syfe cash+ guaranteed 4%? it's not SDIC protected but it seems like very safe (based on experience shared from other folks).

If you received invite from DBS, you have 1 less risk, otherwise, you risk losing "interest" if DBS take own sweet time to check and reject - read the clause! Of course, if you were as lucky as me last time, I got my 4.88%!

If u open a new account, ur reference balance is zero n u earn 3.6% from ur first cent. However, please note that this promo is from 1st Feb to 31st mar only.
For March it's also comparing to zero right? This sounds good at least until March and then I can withdraw everything except 1k.

So for your case which you are a new customer, is against 0 SGD for the 2 months.

Once 1st April, yes you can withdraw, to withdraw all or to keep 1k SGD in it, it's up to you.
ESaver is a 1k SGD minimum balance account but there are people who keep it 0 SGD and do not encounter the min balance fees. YMMV

When you put in dosent matter, only matters is you put in before 31st March 24.
Putting funds early just ensure you get the full interest on your balance. You can refer to TnC 5B for more details as it seems to fit your question.

Shouldn't be, since it's not a listed holiday for Singapore

i mean in the sense of value dating.

I understand SCB cannot send funds in on sunday/PH i.e. not counted for interest tabulation

Saturday FAST still valued as Saturday itself, but maybe the cut-off time is earlier instead of usual weekday's.

Super lousy and disappointing offer from SCB.

Priority Private, AUM>2MM, Batch B Invitation

For those who got Batch A, can share tier and AUM?

Batch B no difference from the public offer, other than the 5MM limit. Will move my funds to HSBC Feb EGA promo.

Fall below fee of $5
But I will put back another $20000 to make full use of the promotion. So, it is not considered fall below, right?

The earlier promotion was for 2 months, Dec to Jan, now Jan one can withdraw. If I withdraw all, the next cycle will count from zero or the JAN ADB? Since in the last cycle, I pump in 20K, and never withdrawn. So my JAN ADB has to be 20K. If based on JAN ADB, I have to put in extra cash to make use of the promotion.
My strategy may be withdraw all, go into HSBC and from HSBC come to SC. Will this strategy work? Any experts here can explain a little bit more on how it works, thanks.

HSBC and SC same period. Current SC promo till 31st March, so you have to wait for the promo AFTER 31st march or else stil based on the 20k ADB

The fall below fee is based on ADB of the month.
technically if u clear everything in the second month of the promo, there is a fall below fee unless u can maintain a ADB of $1000. $30,000 ($20,000 day 1 and $10,000 day 2 and $0 for the rest of the month) for 30-day month - $31,000 for 31-day month. Then comes the new public promo, u can enjoy ur new incremental balance interest minus $1,000(base interest)
