If I deposit 10k fresh funds, the next day I withdraw 2k, then deposit back 1k, is my total fresh funds 8k or 9k?
Problem sum? What is this fresh fund calculation for? Bonus interest eligibility? If I deposit 10k fresh funds, the next day I withdraw 2k, then deposit back 1k, is my total fresh funds 8k or 9k?
SC uses ADB to calculate, so you can just excel / google sheet these numbers. If I deposit 10k fresh funds, the next day I withdraw 2k, then deposit back 1k, is my total fresh funds 8k or 9k?
ADB 1k to avoid fall below, if you did not have ADB 1k and there is any balance in the account on the last day, they will deduct fall below fee. So the hack is to keep zero on last day of mth, there is nothing for them to deduct fall below fee. It works for donkey years!1K is the minimum balance, if cannot keep the minimum balance what will happen?
Withdraw all in Feb for SCB, go to HSBC for 2mths, then return to SCB in April if promo rates are good to you. SCB April will compare to Mar ADB which should be zero for you to earn max interest. Provided your HSBC ADB for Jan is zero or low too.My strategy may be withdraw all, go into HSBC and from HSBC come to SC. Will this strategy work? Any experts here can explain a little bit more on how it works, thanks.

I never get charged for fall below fee before as a SC priority customer.Any SCB priority customer here know if $5 will be charged if eSaver falls below $1k balance?

I've always play 'by the book' and kept min. amount in all my accounts.. after all, to me it's important my accounts are "in good order" with the banks in case I need certain waiver or appeals.
most banks their min. amount is decent, like $500 (DBS), $1k, highest is $2k by HSBC. although earning peanuts interest. just treat it like an 'emergency' pocket money if ever needed one day.
I leave $1 to keep account open. Some of my dormant bank accounts like ICBC, OCBC need to do 1 transaction every 6 mths to a year. Last year just realise that CIMB will de-activate the account if dormant.I keep minimum to avoid the hassle of reopening the account. Also, in case in future there's any banking crisis, I can transfer money out from dbs to these accounts and vice versa instantenously.
So you leave only $1 in your StandChart eSaver account? The bank does not deduct the $5 fall below fee?I leave $1 to keep account open. Min sum I only keep if chargeable. POSB savings, UOB and Maybank.
He said he keeps minimum sum, so that's $1k for e-saver.So you leave only $1 in your StandChart eSaver account? The bank does not deduct the $5 fall below fee?
I am priority. Have 2 esavers account. 1 active and 1 dormant. So you leave only $1 in your StandChart eSaver account? The bank does not deduct the $5 fall below fee?
If priority, can leave at $0 for both esaver accounts.I am priority. Have 2 esavers account. 1 active and 1 dormant.
The dormant one I leave $1 not charged fall below fee.
