For those on special invite till April, even if receive new invite, eg from May to August, if April balance is high, it will be difficult to join the new promo. Moreover, standard chartered bank is very strict with the definition of fresh funds, so if 1 family member's esaver account reduce and while another family member's esaver account increase in amount within 30 days, that will not be considered as fresh funds.

so those on promotion ending end April
what would u do
1. move to another esaver amount with 0 balance
2. elsewhere
3. or

This is fake news, the bank is not suppose to commingle your account with your family member unless it is a joint account.

If you are moving funds within the bank it is not deemed fresh funds, even if it is across accounts.

How you know what's the criteria for the next cycle? Like current cycle was based on the amount for the last day of November rather than average daily balance of that month leh.

Trust Bank up interest rate to 3.5% for union members in Jun!

Hi gurus,
Anyone alternate between EGA and eSaver every month? Will the fresh funds criteria in eSaver t&c post any issues? “Funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of the promotional period.”

TIA

Think this round I will rotate over to Maybank for the 3.5% in order to evade SC's definition of fresh funds.

March 2024 is the comparison month. My March balance is high so shift to hsbc better. Huat ahh
Are you referring to the Apr/May promotion reference to Mar balance?

The one I posted earlier is a new promotion from 1 May to 31 Jul. The requirement is that balance on 31 May must be at least 100k above the balance on 30 April. This one only valid if you receive a promo invite from SCB.

Yes. My 3.8% invite valid till today. So May promo is looking at March balance right?
