Now cannot, when you sign up via the app or at the branch, the system will block you. You can try to create a joint account, but the maximum number of accounts you are allowed to have is 2 (one single name, one joint name).
Since when did SCB limit the number of joint accounts one can have? Where is the tnc?

This is specific to esaver, and this likely is "subject to discretion". You could try to open multiple esaver and see if it works, I've tried and it was rejected
I own more than 1 in the past, but closed it because interest was too low. Next time I pass by SCB branch, I will ask them before I bring my sibling along if I need one more!

I guess you did not give a good answer when they ask you why you need it!:ROFLMAO:

Nope they actually tried to do it for me and did not turn me away, but the system do not allow opening of the account, and no way to overwrite the rejection.

So it is not true, it only applies to you since no reason is given! :ROFLMAO:

Dun spread fake news! You never even ask them why! I end here, good luck to you!
Did you read a few posts back? They said one person max 1 single name 1 joint name (primary), unless you open it way long time ago.

If you have methods to bypass it do share, if not it's not very helpful

Hi I am new to the merry go round approach shared by many in this thread.
Currently in the Nov-Jan marathon promotion by SC esaver.

Some questions:
1) Do i need to withdraw by 31 Jan 2025, put inside a non-SC acct for the whole month of Feb, then maybe participate in the Mar-May marathon promo by putting money back into SC in 1st Mar 2025?
2) Or issit better to withdraw on 1st Feb 2025 instead?
3) whats everyone's fav non-SC savings account to do this merry go round?

If any of us knew the answer, I would be asking them for Toto numbers right now.

Dun troll here! You want to gamble, go elsewhere!

If you read this thread or other related threads, you will know the answers!

People play games to optimise their returns, it is both an art and a science! Many have the spoon but waiting for others to do the feeding! The answers can be found if you read the tnc, the experiences shared in money mind and some homework!

for me, if <$200k, can withdraw on 1st Feb before cut off timing.

if >$200k then need to start withdrawing before 1st Feb (ie. 31 Jan if $400k, 30 Jan if $600k..) becos of the transfer limit.

Marathon Saver is a new promo. We don't know if SC will continue it for March to May 2025 cycle, or if it's even worth it.

There is nothing we can guess from "reading this thread".

You obviously dunno how to play this game! Read his 3 questions again!

How to prepare and play by ear, that's what most with common sense/judgement are doing! :ROFLMAO:
