Thank you, for CIMB I recall reading somewhere about that before 31 Dec 2024 too but can't find it anymore. Seems like their web page now states just these conditions for existing customers:

Earn flat 3.20%** p.a. interest rate on incremental fresh funds# till 31 March 2025 by simply topping up a minimum of S$5,000 incremental fresh funds# (compared to month-end balance of 31 December 2024) into your account from 1 to 31 January 2025.

I believed the topping up of 5K by 31 Dec 24 is more to catch/lock the earlier promo cycle Dec to Feb 25, anticipating the fall from 3.2% rate for new promo cycle Jan to Mar 2025. New cycle is still 3.2%.

I started on the Marathon in late Dec.
I have received the base interest for December. But I haven't received any bonus interest although I had deposited enough $$$ in December .
When does the bank credit the bonus interest ?
Records of my accounts a few months ago show bonus interest credited on same day as the base interest. But that was not Marathon.
Am wondering whether it's cos Marathon is different, or something went wrong
u join and did not read the T&Cs? It has been discussed here many times .... read clause 13

Anyone got the BI for Dec ? Or anyone knows when will we get the BI for the marathon for month of Dec?
In Oct and Nov, we got it on the 5th and 6th of the month...

Their page info quite interesting: https://www.sc.com/sg/save/savings-accounts/esaver/

"Elevate your savings with up to 2.85% p.a. when you register for the Marathon $aver Promotion"

Then later say: "What if I don’t register and/or qualify for the Marathon $aver Promotion? You can still enjoy high yield returns of up to 2.85% p.a. interest with your eSaver Account through the following promotion: e$aver Savings Account Bonus Interest Promotion"

So basically it means whether you register for marathon promo or not you get 2.85% interest?

For non-marathon promo, there's still a reference month where they will use one (either using average daily balance or $100k above the end of day balance of the last day of the reference month). So you need to read the T&C carefully on how to qualify for the 2.85% interest.
