But do u own any stocks in ur SCB investment acct? If no then dun qualify.I have securities settlement account is it the same? coz i see there's another tab under investment account (SC Invest) ?
Not yet. Coz wanted to check 2.65% with Wealth holding - is it referring to only the SG Invest Portfolio under Investment Account? or also can buy any equities via Securities Settlement Account (online trading account)? But do u own any stocks in ur SCB investment acct? If no then dun qualify.
Personally i think any equities is eligible. Cos i called up Equities hotline and ask. The cs also not sure. She looked through the tnc and told me she can't see any description on what is eligible what is not. So she also think anything goes. Not yet. Qualify. But does it make a difference to the % given. The % is " up to"... or fixed amount? No. I personally think even 1 share also qualify
If you do it for this month you should still get the 2.65% BI for this month. This is my interpretation. I think to be very certain you have to check with SC as this tnc is newly designed and many of us are interpreting based on what we think.Qualify. But does it make a difference to the % given. Anyway, that is over already? Or still on?
But wouldn't that 2.65% be only on fresh funds i deposit this month? If you do it for this month you should still get the 2.65% BI for this month. This is my interpretation. Precisely. Not only this account, even their BonusSaver acc some tnc is also a mystery. Got to test to find out at later date. This has always been the way. For those very scared to test or risk can only go for FD.only way to confirm is to wait till latest 25th to find out
i asked RM & ServiceManager via myRM they also unsure
personally i think its eligible too, threw in 30cents for it![]()
Yes but is incremental fresh funds compared to May 2025 average daily balance. But wouldn't that 2.65% be only on fresh funds i deposit this month?
I don't have much money elsewhere to do this
BonusSaver T&C is slightly different as compared to eSaver.Precisely. Not only this account, even their BonusSaver acc some tnc is also a mystery. Got to test to find out at later date. This has always been the way. For those very scared to test or risk can only go for FD.
not much other places have more than 2.15% anyway.. so even if dont qualify for wealth bonus still decent interest.Precisely. Actually if 2.15% i rather just leave it with MariBank Saveplus instead. No need think so much about wealth holding what's not. Just that Saveplus is not SDIC protected. Maribank Saveplus has no cap. Can park any amount you like. For those lazy to shift about and don't mind about SDIC it is a good choice.not much other places have more than 2.15% anyway.. so even if dont qualify for wealth bonus still decent interest.
This would likely drop below 2% if you look at the latest, it only looks high because it's reporting an average. The latest MAS bills all below 2%Actually if 2.15% i rather just leave it with MariBank Saveplus instead. No need think so much about wealth holding what's not.
