Looks like the next promotion will be fresh funds deposited in Aug to 30 Sep compared with average daily balance in Jul.

Cannot meet present promo from Jun to 31 Jul compared to May average daily balance as I got too much in May and not easy to increase my balance in Jun and Jul. So now moving fund from SCB to Cimb to keep my Jul balance as low as possible for the next promo :s13:

Time to increase balance in Aug/Sep to earn up to 1.4% compared to Jul balance. My Jul's average daily balance only $1,212 :s12:

The table got the calc already what more you want?

The 2 tables illustrate increase in savings in sept compared to august. Mine is a decrease in savings in sept compared to august - so i want to double-confirm, though it's almost certain that this won't be a problem.

I intend to transfer all money on 1st sept from esaver to OCBC B+.

In the current promo, the comparison is always against Jul.

How to calculate? Call n ask?

No need for me to calculate. After the Apr/May promotion, I transfer back money to CIMB and left the account dormant in Jun and Jul. Now moving CIMB back to esaver for the Aug/Sep promotion.

Referring to https://www.sc.com/sg/assets/pws/pdf/esaver-aug-2015-promo-tncs.pdf .

Under the illustration table, for existing account holders,
can someone provide calculation under "ADB for calendar month
during the Promotion Period"
August 2015: $150,000
September 2015 $50,000

answer is $116.7 hor? Not $0.00 hor? :D
Cos september is put $$ into OCBC bonus+ :D

avg daily balance = sum of end of day balances in a month / no. of days in that month

the incremental balance is based on comparing the Aug/Sep ADB with the Jul ADB

Not true. It is with reference to July ADB. Even if there is a decrease from August to sep. as long as step ADB is higher than July ADB, he will enjoy incremental bonus interest for this case

tis! :s12::s12:

From now till 30 September 2015, enjoy up to 1.40% p.a. interest on eligible deposit balance of up to S$1 million with no lock-in period when you bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to July 2015's average daily balance)

promo for esaver has been like this since day 1 hor

u r the "inconsistent" one lor
during day 1, interest was for the entire amount. the interest went up to 2+% at one stage. i was the first few that sign up for this account.

however, you are partially right in that this top up promotion has been around for a few years already.
