Guys. just to ask a very stupid question. does the $10 6gb plan comes with free outgoing sms and call? as i see the FAQ showing only free incoming call and sms. outgoing call and sms is chargeable per min/sms.

tried contract their cso but to no avail. email them 5 days liao also no single reply from them.

Even got 8888 8888 I also won't pay for it. Nowadays numbers all saved to phone, no one except boliao ones need nice numbers to haolian something useless. Plus the hassle of changing number is more trouble than it is worth.

you have read all the details because mentioned going through the FAQ. so how did you missed reading the 6GB/100 minutes/100 sms mentioned under GIGA! Mobile Plan?

for my experience of using for about a week, the network connection so far has been quite smooth like starhub.

I was using SH before switching to giga. So far on giga I don't have chance to use in MRT underground yet. The only low to no signal I experienced is CTE coming out Outram that stretch which is a little longer underground compared to the other CTE underground thus the drop is obvious. I was gaming halfway kns got cut off... Haha

Actually hor, I also wonder how Month 1's data can ever be brought over to Month 3. Cos surely in Month 2, the roll-over data from Month 1 is surely gonna be used up first before even touching Month 2's allocation.

It is really silly marketing gimmick. Might as well say can roll over 5 months, but cap it at 1 month data.

Anyone port multiple numbers to giga before? I have 2 lines for StarHub, planning to port in to giga but I have to pay delivery fee twice ($2x2) although I chose same delivery slot. Any option to pay for single delivery fee?

I port over 3 lines. Just pay 3 x $2 lah. I think it is more of an admin fee. Not really to recover cost.

Like what others said, it is impossible for you to miss the outgoing sms info when it is clearly stated in every plan detail. Perhaps you were asking for outgoing SMS when roaming?

I was on a Zoom call, hotspotting from my Giga line, when my MIL called me via voice call. The Zoom call hung, even though I did not pick up the call. When I hung up the call (without picking up the call), the Zoom call resumed. This happened a few times coz my MIL called back a few times. Each time the Zoom call hung but was not disconnected.

I guess this is due to the lack of VoIP?

Yes, due to lack of VoLTE will switch back to 3G network for calls. Even if you don't pick up the call, circuit is already established between your MIL's line and yours so it will stay on 3G network until the call is ended.

Singtel M1 Starhub and TPG all have minimum 1 month contract SIM Only plan.

For Singtel, their SIM only plan without contract is a $20 with 3GB, zero talktime and zero SMS plan with no caller ID

If you are making call through WhatsApp, it's purely running on data. Has nothing to do with volte.

Whatsapp running on data. It has nothing to do with volte.

Volte is local voice call coming in via 4g network.
