Can I check, I have just receive the Giga SIM card via delivery.

I am portng over from M1 and want the billing cycle to start on the 1st of Dec..

How should I go about it? When do I activate the SIM card?

And another question is porting over should affect the billing cycle right?

Hopefully u had chosen "Get new number" instead of "Port in number". Cos if u had chosen port in number, it would be done within a day or two of delivery, and u do not get to choose when to activate the card.

So supposing u chose "Get new number", then u can choose to activate the card anytime on 1 Dec, or if u really want to have the time stamp of 1 Dec 0000 hours, then activate around 0000 hours + 10 seconds (to avoid server time sync issues).

By courier. They have time slots to collect, including night time like 6pm-9pm.

Anyone has any data draining issues using giga? Started using since 20th Nov and I clocked 5gb usage. Android phone btw.

Rollover data. Anyone can help clarify this for me ? Does it mean if I have a 6GB plan, after rollover, the max I can have it 12GB ?

say this month I left 3GB, so next month I will have 9GB.

if month 1 and 2, I have 8GB left at the end of 2nd month, I will have 12GB in month 3.

If so, it says "for another 2 renewal", but it does not matter cause it's already capped at 6GB rollover ?

Anybody know exactly how this thing works ? Thanks !!!!!

What is Free Rollover Data?
Roll over unused data from your giga plan for another 2 renewal cycles, capped at 6GB for the 6GB plan, 45GB for the 45GBplan and 75GB for the 75GB plan, at any point in time.

Roaming data from gigaRoam pass and other extra packs will not be rolled over.

Only giga gives you a second chance to use the data you love. Viva la giga!

Yes u have basically got it right. One can bring over 2 months left over but at most the 1 month allocation. So in the case of 6gb plan can only bring over 6gb from the previous 2 months.

Unused data only roll over Once.

So

Month A left 5GB

Month B you get 6 GB + Month A rollover(5 GB). GB.

Month C you get 6GB + Month B rollover.

Month D you get 6GB + Month C rollover.

Actually hor, I also wonder how Month 1's data can ever be brought over to Month 3. Cos surely in Month 2, the roll-over data from Month 1 is surely gonna be used up first before even touching Month 2's allocation.

Not only that. There is a cap on the rollover amt. For me, I'm on 6GB. So max is 12GB == 2 months. I'm not sure about other plans.

That's why I wondered how they quote the algo to rollover. So unless they change the 12GB (2x) cap, then it's 1 month rollover max.

Anyone port multiple numbers to giga before? I have 2 lines for StarHub, planning to port in to giga but I have to pay delivery fee twice ($2x2) although I chose same delivery slot. Any option to pay for single delivery fee?

Means u will be alerted when u use up every 3GB block, I think.

Guys. just to ask a very stupid question. does the $10 6gb plan comes with free outgoing sms and call? as i see the FAQ showing only free incoming call and sms. outgoing call and sms is chargeable per min/sms.

tried contract their cso but to no avail. email them 5 days liao also no single reply from them.
