No reason not to unless
- you need voice & sms (outgoing) roaming
- surf the internet while on voice call
Giga! does not support the above.

Depend on your area, my Giga only get 10-20 mbps

Can access but super super slow due to no VOlte.

The phone switch from 4g to 3g to allow u pick up normal voice call.

So the 3g share connection for both voice and data so during call 3g data is slower than usual.

No, it doesn't. I don't expect it either when you are getting more data at a lower price compared to traditional plans.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I always put flight mode when I sleep at night. Sometimes colleagues call when I already slept then morning turn off flight mode, see missed calls alert then I'll call back.

My colleague say why I never return call then I was like I never received missed call alert leh.

Not the point of discussion BUT...

no one should expect a return call if they called someone outside of office hours especially during sleeping time. IF it is an urgent matter, they should call you again in the morning or send an SMS/WhatsApp etc as reminder. Anyway... I know, it's not the point of your original query.

Agree.

I usually put to silent mode instead of airplane mode because my purpose is not to be disturbed rather than not to received. Realise that if switch off airplane mode, the WhatsApp will show the time the WhatsApp comes through rather than actual time the message was sent.

Are u newly ported? In front got posts say need some time for the old and current telco to update their systems.

Nope have been with them since start of the year....it is fine most of the while until today. I noted that on facebook there are complaints with the same issue also

Both my DBS Vickers and FSMOne sms login not working...no sms received even after I restart phone. Have raised the issue with giga on facebook. Maybe it is a sign I shouldn't do any stock trading today...
