Wa this is horrible. Obviously no one monitor their QoS. Overseas support ? This is not acceptable on 2021 at all. Not even 2010.

wasted. For its price it’s good with VoLTE and speed is comparative to Singtel’s I almost instantly fell in love with this telco.

Does it mean that if I don't buy this pack, all the data used on WhatsApp will be charged seperately on top of the $10/mth?

WhatsApp will draw down from 6GB data. No need to buy the WhatsApp pack.

Don't really know how the WhatsApp pack works. There's once they give free. But it still draw down from my 6GB.

Don't really need to bother with the WhatsApp pack unless you often use up your bundled data.

Ported to giga. iMessage cannot be activated.

Update: I switched to Singtel SIM only plan last week and once I am on Singtel, iMessage is activated immediately. So iMessage (using your mobile number instead of appleid) doesn’t work on giga.

this is the reason why I dun like giga or gomo as they are MVNOs under MNP and the services they offered are not in full for example both giga and gomo cannot make roaming outgoing calls if really needed.

In my experience, there will be this problem so long any service you use needs to send overseas sms OTP

The prob is that the MNP is offering better package than the MVNO.

M1 is having $17 sim-only plan no contract, 77GB, free weekend data & caller id 6 months (port-in), 1000 sms and mins calls. With this kind of plan, why one needs to go to Gomo or Giga.

Even if one really wants to go for MVNOs, my republic mobile has a much better plan of $17 50GB perpetual. It is in full suite, can make roaming outgoing call etc.
