Anyone of you have encounter this weird issue/bug that you have called out to unknown number and people have called back to say that they received a missed call from your number?

Encountered 6-8 times already since yesterday and today.

The ones calling you back, might be authenticating if your number is legit/ valid/ in-use. Perhaps choose not to pick up unless necessary.

Reminded me of 'unsubscribing from spam'.

Both Starhub and giga are on the same network, not sure why you thought it would have made any difference ? Same reason why I wouldn't go for any telco or mvno that's on M1 network even if the price is good. Because it just doesn't work well for my commute route.

I used Starhub few years ago. Expecting it to have improved mah. Not to say expecting it to be different.

Ah.... I thought you recently just switched from Starhub to Giga. To be honest, i was initially hesitant switching to Giga when they first launched their service. Heard many horror stories from colleagues.

But since there's no contract, i felt it was worth the try given the price and data rollover. It was an improvement over my Circles Life experience. It's not perfect but it's good enough for my usage.

I prefer the experience on M1 though. Weird to say but yeah that's my experience. On M1 with my commute route from tiong bahru all the way to Orchard I only get cut from the game when I enter the lift.

With M1, yes may see more areas with little to no coverage but at areas with coverage it's doing better. Starhub is area with full coverage, network just suddenly stuck and won't move. Weird right.

just changed to giga, but volte doesnt work on my iphone 13 pro max.

is it we need to change apn get volte work?

my current apn is default 'giga'

How much Giga charges to deliver (not send) SMS when roaming?

Free. I've tested receive sms roaming by manually select celcom from my window in yew tee.

I was on giga! with the 13 Pro for a while, and I remembered it works.

I encountered it too yesterday when I can't call out with my giga with error message showing that number is not registered. Earlier, the OTP went missing. It was strange as the line reception bar at the top of my phone screen showed up as normal. In the end, I took out the sim card from the sim tray and reinsert into phone which then solved the issue of missed SMS and calling out.

Also cannot receive SMS codes from banking transactions. Really **.

Realised they dun have hotline to call for problem. Tried using Giga app to ask for help, and can't get pass the useless chatbot to chat with agent.

Then removed SIM card and tried again. Received some old SMS but not the current one I need from DBS. **** lah.

Just switched to them for a mth only. Even something so simple as SMS also got problem. ****i.

Try turn on airplane mode then switch it off

hannor! I also experienced delay in receiving OTPs. I keep clicking resend OTP but never receive.. then few minutes later, one shot received 5-6 OTP sms..

1 month and 1 week on the network. VoLTE still not seen. Giga why advertise VoLTE and make it work for some users then make it not work for most other users??
