They just gave on CNY. Generous. Thought the 30GB can redeem till 27 Feb.

Birthday is just unlimited for data, calls and SMS on that one day.
But the roll over got caps 1.
6GB for 6GB plan

Do your plans come with Free Rollover Data?
That's right! All giga plans comes with FREE Rollover Data, so you never have to waste any of the data you love. Roll over unused data from your giga plan for another 2 renewal cycles, capped at 6GB for the 6GB plan, 40GB for the 40GB plan, 60GB for the 60GB plan and 100GB for the 100GB plan, at any point in time.

You expect roll over to be more than the plan ? Roll over means unused roll over to next month. Roll over cap to the plan is fair. Anything more does not make business sense.

Eg if on 6GB plan. Mth 1 have balance 3GB. Roll over 3GB so mth 2 can use upto 9GB. Mth 2 use less than 3GB. Roll over 6GB so mth 3 can use upto 12GB....

One of the main reason I stay with Giga is the roll over feature.

I mean now they are offering 36GB for first and second month. So by right i should have maybe about 36GB to roll over during 3rd month. But end up the rollover cap at 6GB.

Btw how is your experience with GIGA?

So far ok.

I have some voice distortion when I call out to fixed lines sometimes. But I seem to be the only one with this problem.

Means your call drop to 3G (Without LTE)

You might want to contact Giga team to make sure your VOLTE is activated, they will send it to the backend team to check and activate it Free.

Will check with them. Thanks.

Anyone using devices which are out of the list of VOLTE supported? Are you able to get VOLTE working? Chatted with the live agent asking why my VOLTE option went missing after switching to giga, agent just copied and pasted the entire FAQ on this for me to read.... like chatting with a bot

No I am not using a XiaoMi. I am using a GALAXY Note 9.

Cos it's not on Giga's official supported list.
If your phone is not on the list, then it's always a risk that it won't work.
There are some users here whose phone is on the list and also couldn't get VOLTE running.

Curious to know those on StarHub network also need to see specific device to use VOLTE?

It's the same for every telco.
There will always be list of "officially supported" devices so that users cannot complain if it's not working on an device not listed.
