Hi All,

I'm trying to understand Giga's no contract plans.

I'm trying to get a 5G plan under $20 (I just need 50GB or so per month with decent speeds).

First thing Giga's website did not explicitly say if their plans are 4G or 5G (I googled and it says Giga's plans are all 5G)?

Then their plans would say like 10GB or 200GB per month. But at the same time, they have this Giga 5G packs. This part I don't understand... if their plans already have say 200GB 5G plan, then why would some opt to buy these Giga 5G packs? Are these extra data on top what is already given in the plan?

from what I see 5G is a $10.10 monthly add-on for any plan. If you are looking for 5G plans less than 20, ZYM and Zero1 has $19.90 5G plans.

Don't bother buying 5G pack.
They are in the middle of optimizing the 5G coverage. Reply from giga agent to me.

I believe still no 5G on Giga.

All of their plans are 4G. If it's 5G, you bet giga's marketing would have plastered "5G" all over their plan details.

Hi, I intend to switch to Giga (from singtel xo plan) then proceed to hop to zym to get their $10 plan.

May I know if there is any minimum period before I can port out from Giga?

I intend to request a temporary giga number/sim card days before my Singtel contract ends and cancel giga 1 day after I've port in to giga.

Nope, no minimum.
