I am keen to learn. What does it means by: "If today the person want to port over to Grid Mobile, if today is the renewal date for $10/25/45, then he will pay $10/25/45 for nothing." As you mentioned that "If you start Giga service on the 15th of the month, it should end by the 14th of the following month, not the end of the month. It will not follow 1st to the end of the month per bill, but depending on when you start it service." I really don't visualize how these two things work? Could you elaborate with an example. TIA

Giga Service start Date: 15 April 2020 for $25/month

If want to port out to other telco on the 10 May 2020 and successful porting on the 13 May 2020, only pay $25 to Giga from 15 April 2020 to 13 May 2020.

If want to port out on the 16 May 2020, pay $50 to Giga from 15 April 2020 to 16 May 2020.

Afaik all mvno giga gomo don’t do prorated bills.

So is ALL or Giga Gomo only? You need to make your stand and information sharing clear. CMLink pro rate their first month bill (eg to end of the month and start new bill on first month)

There are a few types of pro-rate bills.

(1) If the bill starts on 1st of the month and by 10th day you terminate, do you prorate the bill to 10 days or still charge you full month

(2) If the bill starts on the 16 of the month (30 days month), do they prorate the 1st month (15 days out of 30 days) to 50% of the monthly subscription fee or they charge 1 full month from 16th of this month to 15th of next month.

I have issue with some people who claimed MVNO do not prorate (not true as per CMLink first fee till end of the month) and will be charged till end of the May (not true as per Giga and MyRepublic.

All telcos pro-rate except for CirclesLife :s22:

Yes. Especially their data add on.

I added a data add on without reading the fine print. Paid $20 for 20gb for 2 days. Reach out to them for waiver and reply cannot and nothing can be done.

Port out shortly. Not going back to them. Can afford to give $50 Orchard and help customer break contract with telco. Waiver of $20 to customer cannot.

anyone from Giga $10 plan porting to TPG ?

Most people that use TPG paid plans have main plans on the Big Three (or the MVNOs). Doubt many will switch from Giga $10 to TPG $10 plan, their market segment is kinda different.

Only if their download speed improves, which may happen after the free trial users terminate their lines. Accessing certain overseas websites is hard work at this moment ☹️

it seems my area near Redhill close got signal only 2 bars on Ip7 plus. last time got full bars on Singtel but old 2 years the contract was very expensive with less data pack.
seems StarHub coverage may not be so consistent in areas?

If the area is highly built up, many concrete blocks, just like Redhill, signals might not be as good. Singtel has LTE900 which is better for indoors, hence that is why Singtel always perform best indoors as compared to the other 2.

If you need consistent indoor coverage, singtel will be your best bet. Either you can try Gomo or grid.

I happened to be struck in this ****. Port over to Circle.Life on 8th May and Giga! already deducted payment for next month. Will I get the pro-rate amount back?

How and where can I talk to them? Keep hitting the robot!

Say "talk to human". I always do that to bots and a human will come to talk to you.🤖
