Anyone switched from M1 to Giga?

Is the reception/connectivity really much better? Considering whether or not to switch but still undecided.

Definitely worth switching. Indoor reception for M1 is the worst by far.

I'm switching from Circles to Giga, but haven't had the opportunity to test it out yet. However, Circles, which is using M1's network, has never given me much issues before. In fact, staying in the South, there are many times where my Circles connectivity is better than my SingTel line's connectivity.

Yup, so far so good circles life. It is not as bad as imagine. I have been using it for more than 2 months now.

Yea, have been using Circles for almost a year, and M1 Prepaid for a couple of years now. I can never relate to those complaining about M1's connectivity since I don't have massive issues. In fact, I have more issues about my SingTel line sometimes.

But will compare the difference when my Giga $18 SIM comes.

I see.

In that case, can I split my 2 numbers into 2 people instead?

What are you trying to achieve ? The port in number registered name and NRIC and the new telco registered name and NRIC must be the same.

I'm switching frm circles to giga.

For me, somehow my data keeps showing 4G instead of 4G+ and everything is slow to load.. Also, circles is only $18 due to the rebate for 12 months, after 12 months the bill will revert back to $28.

Are you still with circles or already made the switch? The slow to load is circles?

Sorry 1 last qn guys.

So I need to switch out my old sim in my phone for the new giga sim, then use the app to activate and initiate port in. Once I do that, can I switch back to my old sim and use it until there's no signal then start using the giga sim, hopefully with port in done successfully? Cheers.

circles is under M1 so if M1 reception is poor, so do you think circles would be good ?

switch over from M1 to giga before chinese new year and it is so great to have 4 bars of signal all the time,

also i read somewhere if the signal strength is weak, the battery of the phone will deplete faster,

M1 is cheapest for most data given but if the data cannot be utilised due to poor signal or even if strong signal but never refresh for whatever reason, what is the point ?

i guess no need to ask them to wake up but to continue to sleep.......

When will Giga charge the next cycle’s bill and add the new data to your account? I see that mine is renew in 0 day which means today. But till now my data is still 0.1GB.

Do you remember what time you activated your giga SIM card?

Make the switch, won't regret.
In fact, the reception is actually better... based on usage so far (close to 4 weeks).
