Anyone any idea if un-activated GIGA SIM Card will have any validty expiry date?


If I only plan to activate 3 months later will it expire? Want to clarify but GIGA only robot staff.

If your purpose for holding that long is to sign up for the $18 pop-up plan, then u need not worry. The $18 plan crops up almost every month or every two months.

Giga like can come out number 8 six time saw on corousell 88868858 and 88868588. I never sell so much 8 on giga, dunno whether is giga or other Telco number

when i tell my contacts abt my new number, some thought its a spam message. cos too many 8s. haha then they call me to verify somemore.

I change on last week, the plan take effect on billing date that is today,
Now I been charge two times? 10 on last week and today for billing ..

Were you charged twice? I changed from $18 to $10 plan. Only thing Giga! Did was to deduct $10 instead of $18 at next billing date. That is what “My Transactions” show. Unless it differs from my credit card transactions which I never check.

Giga! is using StarHub network. I am aware of this no voice calls while on data restriction. Any others? Does StarHub limit or throttle access by Giga! Users or prioritise something? I ask because some people who changed complain they now sometimes have difficulties scanning SafeEntry when others do not have.

I am not complaining. I am only paying $10 or $18. But just wondering whether there is a difference in the service to justify the higher fees paid by StarHub subscribers.

I was on the $10 Giga plan for couple of months before porting out. The only problem encountered was a user problem; i.e., no connections because I did not manually changed the APN to Giga

Otherwise, everything else was great. Ported out because I found a better deal.

Went to China Mobile for their $15/5GB with 6months/$10 rebate; will probably stay with them after the promotion because of the strong & stable connections on Singtel network.
