Just to check, Giga still cannot make or receive call when overseas right?

However, no issue in receiving SMS when overseas?

Sent from Samsung SM-G965F using GAGT

Anyone know how to expedite porting to giga? Its over 48 hrs & my gomo number not ported yet. Need it for 2FA. Thanks. Can't get hold of giga staff, only the useless chatbot.

If not port over yet, you can still receive OTP from Gomo SIM card isn't it ? Just continue with it till no signal then switch to Giga SIM card

Need old number for 2FA. Porting to giga takes a long time. If you wish to port best indent 4 days without your old number.

As long as not ported over, just continue to use your old SIM Card for 2FA... or you simply discarded the old SIM card upon receiving your new card? :o

More like a user problem when one thought port over happens over weekends

Why do u even need to do that? Didn't the porting instructions of the various telcos tell u already that u continue to keep your old telco sim card until the old number it ported to the new telco sim card? The only downtime u will experience will only be a few hours at max, and it will only start typically at 2300 hours and last 2 to 3 hours.

That is why, the recommendation of what indent for 4 days without old number is an illogical recommendation.

I ported to Giga! for 3 of my lines.Plus help 2 colleagues do so.

All no issue at all. When my existing line goes dead, my Giga! line works.

I just follow instructions.

I got my giga temp number on 27 nov Friday. My gomo number was deactivated. Giga only ported my old number on 1 dec.so maybe don't switch on a Friday but prepare for 3 to 4 days without your old number.

When i got my giga temp number they said porting within next 24 hours but had to wait 72 hrs to get ported. Just prepare for the worst.

Just to confirm if below is true when switching from gomo to giga:
Get giga sim card.
If mobile has dual sim, put giga sim card in & activate giga temp number.
But don't throw away gomo sim card. Keep inside mobile.
So mobile now has 2 lines - gomo & giga temp number?
Keep using gomo line until giga port over (does not matter take how long :).
When giga ported over, can discard gomo sim card.
Thanks.
