Just signed up to $10 Giga plan this week. So far so good. Silly me didn't look out for promotions and ended up using referral promo code to get $2 off rather then the promo code to get $20 GB data

Also noticed the pop-up plan is not really a pop-up plan? It's available for existing subscribers to change to in the app. And this plan was also available for me to sign up through the app earlier this month even before the pop-up plan "dates"

The pop up plan will ends to those who have never or not yet subscribed to Giga, but fret not, because it will pop up again weeks later.

As for myself, I was previously with Giga and then ported out to another telco.
However, I still retained Giga's app on my hp, hence the 50GB will always be available.

Oh, what I meant is that whether the free 30GB offered by shop retailers can be rolled over.

I have asked one of those mobile shops, they mentioned if I subscribed through them, I will get an extra free 30GB.
Example if I opt for the 10GB plan I will eventually get 40GB in total, however roll over will still be based on the 10GB instead as claimed by the shop assistant.
Hence I am seeking for confirmation whether this is true, especially to those who have already subscribed through shop retailers and also received the free data.

In short, would like to know whether the roll over is based on 10GB only or 10+30GB?

So, store retailers free data given are considered as Bonus data.
I thought Bonus data was referred to those GigaGift, GigaSurprise offering free data, normally 2GB.

Just FYI even though in the T&Cs "fair use" is under the birthday promotion section, it also applies to normal everyday use.

I've been using it to live stream to youtube at 720p at 6Mbps, so after a few hours and I hit 10GB use, they will throttle my speed down to under 1Mbps.

When I emailed them about it this is their reply:

"The usage of your data is for your own personal use and is subject to giga's fair usage policy.

If we determine that you have exceeded our fair usage policy beyond a threshold at any time as determined by us in our absolute discretion, we may impose a speed limit on the applicable Service."

Better to get msia sim card then.
Cheaper and more worth it.
