I switched out to MyRepublic 5G recently.

Main pluses compared to Giga at the moment are
(1) access to StarHub 5G SA network (Giga only has NSA)
(2) ability to make and receive calls overseas and send SMS overseas
(3) Wi-Fi calling is supported

Roaming usage in JB was cui, data was unstable and keep having to airplane to re-establish connection.
No such issues in other countries like BKK, TPE etc.

Connection better than Circles at nay point of time

The only thing I am nt sure of is the billing.
Is it:
a) $1 each month for 4 months
b) Only pay $1 for the the whole of 4 months

Just received email that Giga will no longer activate all your data roam all at once. It will be 1gb at a time. That’s a good news. So if come across 50% discount can buy more.

In the midst of doing this. Was on Gomo 5G, ported in to Giga $1 promo yesterday, gonna port out to Heya maybe after a week or so.

How does redone compare to giga? Anyone got try both? Imo the likes of vivifi and zym got difference despite both being under singtel.

quite similiar ... not much difference .. personally if you go for QOS vivifi maybe better as my personal preference you may check on thier respective threads

Comparing value to value, Heya’s $10 plan is more worth it to me compared to Giga’s $10 plan.

giga connection throttle below 1.5mbps even in non crowded areas, if you used more than 10gb a day (not stated anywhere), the $15.14/m with 200gb data only worth if you use about 7gb per day for whole month.

Interesting thing is that some speed test server immune to this speed change, if i speed test with sigtel server can see the 1.5mbps limit, but with starhub server can go above it.

Perhaps they favor their own server. Afterall Giga is under Starhub

Matter of time ,old customers been with them since still 10.10 with meagre data will jump ship to others with 100g .
And they rather spent on advertising $just to get new customers which is incongruous

When click change plan always 4 ball bouncing until it say got error. Already uninstall and install the app. What is wrong?
