Anybody know how long do I have to wait to port out of giga to starhub? I just register a new giga number 2 week ago and unable to port out from it (starhub can't port out of it)
giga usually 2 days after you receive the sim card will be portable. never tried giga to starhub though.

Just enabled the international incoming call blocking on my Starhub line and want to do the same for my Giga line. Seems like Giga doesn't have this (yet)

5G started for Giga? Last I known when enquiring w Giga was that 5G isn't ready.
Managed to get the $1 plan last year. Saw 5G add-on $10 itchy hands try. 5G coverage non-existent in neighbourhood HDBs and thought this is a dud.

Then I discovered their 5G coverage actually inside shopping centres. My limited DPs are Vivocity, Plaza Singapura, Woodleigh Mall and Raffles City. Below snip taken at Woodleigh Mall.

Speeds maxed out at low 100s (usually high double digits) with latency around 25ms.
iPhone 15 Pro.
Tested alongside SIMBA 5G. Mostly and surprisingly, SIMBA performed better.

Yeah, then to me its almost non-existent 5G. As good as not having. hahahaha
I believe its the same w Starhub's 5G too.

Looks to me like they are deploying 5G only at high density areas.

If Starhub 5G also this kind of coverage, then that will be really cuis. Worse than SIMBA.

That also means MyRepublic 5G also same type of selective deployment.

Update your giga app to the latest version, the option is in the "Settings".

Hi there,

Considering on porting to Giga once my contract with starhub ends. Was wondering if say I have 4 numbers under 1 starhub account (bill), how would port-in work? I read from Giga FAQ that number must be tied to same ID for port-in but like that my starhub 4 numbers tied to 1 ID how will it work out?

Anybody got experience in this? Any other only-SIM provider better? Starhub have their STAR-plan now but don't know how it compares with Giga. TIA.

They will all be individual lines in Giga under your name in a single account logged in.

In what sense are you looking for better? Management of these 4 lines or?
There are threads about STAR plan from Starhub which does not seem to look good/work well.

hello, i have successfully port in to giga (from singtel) on the same night after receiving my sim card. currently i have Zym $10 for 100gb and Giga $10 for 10gb.

may i know which network is more stable/good since i've been a singtel customer for years?
most of the time i'll be in cbd/east side.
