Multi-sim had already been discontinued by StarHub and SingTel, possibly M1 too. Doubt any mvno will offer it as well

There is good and bad on esim.
Not sure about giga but in the event if u change Ur phone, U might be charged for a new QR code. For pSIm it will be simpler

I am more worried about cyber vulnerability, whether hackers will find a way into eSIM.

Bearing in mind, banking is done with phones.

I think before you start worrying about eSIMs, worry about actual people with photocopies of your NRIC trying to port out your number at any of the many mvno's with non in-person verification needed.

This does represent a serious risk. Are you aware whether such cases have taken place?

The hackers don't even need to hack the eSIM
All they need is YOUR NUMBER
