I am more worried about cyber vulnerability, whether hackers will find a way into eSIM.hi all, is it a no-brainer to go for e-sim if i port over to giga? thinking if i will miss out anything if i dont pay the $2 for a physical sim card![]()
I think before you start worrying about eSIMs, worry about actual people with photocopies of your NRIC trying to port out your number at any of the many mvno's with non in-person verification needed.I am more worried about cyber vulnerability, whether hackers will find a way into eSIM.
Bearing in mind, banking is done with phones.
This does represent a serious risk. Are you aware whether such cases have taken place?I think before you start worrying about eSIMs, worry about actual people with photocopies of your NRIC trying to port out your number at any of the many mvno's with non in-person verification needed.
The hackers don't even need to hack the eSIMI am more worried about cyber vulnerability, whether hackers will find a way into eSIM.
