yes you can. There are 2 ways:
1. Use all equipment by sh and bridge the 655
2. Direct ONT. This will make the provided router /gateway by sh useless. Ur 655 will be router and u will need the Motorola cable modem to let u have digital voice

ya, kinda sad. Why is Starhub always so slow in implementing stuffs

correct me if me wrong on info. think vq is the only rsp with ont/router/voice as one device. the rest hv ont and gateway, two separate devices.

Just upgrade my Starhub cable line to fibre 150mbps... it come with DVG-N5402SP Wifi Router...

within same room with this Router I can get 30MB>> in speedtest...
while beside the router room and just block by 1 wall, the wireless signal is damn low and even intermitent disconnected! try the speedtest result is terrible...

anyone know how to solve this?

I try IPad, Iphone, S2, Notebook, desktop with Wireless adaptor... all same result....:s12:

Seems like a mixed bag for SH fiber
Some people are getting nice results and others have really slow connections.
Weird.

do hardwire connection i.e. tp > ont > computer

and dan try tp > ont > supplied router > computer*

* make sure computer is setup for ethernet connection and turn off wifi.

if u get abt 150+ mbps dl and 50+ mbps ul for both wired setups, dan it means wireless issue liao.

this is the most basic test and try to use the supplied ethernet cable first and try own ethernet cable to see any different in speedtest results.

Hmm if the Dlink ONT supplied has a built in router, and I prefer to use my own Linksys E4200 router, do I have to tell the Customer rep at the point of sign up or can I settle the config myself later?

1. there is no dlink ont
2. no built in router
3. you will definitely have an ONT + RG. if you do not wish to have the RG but prefer your own router, let them know at the point of sign up no point having the RG for nothing. But if you want it also can then tell them later.

Should b interference from other ppls wifi or channel. Change channel and try again. Power reset the router too.
