imo since I have done both config before.

My laptop is just less then 1.5meters away from the router with no obstruction at all. Actually for the wireless configuration there isn't much to change right?

I've the DVG-N5402SP router and my desktop use wireless adapter connected to the router but the signal strength very low, transfer speed very slow and sometime would d/c..

should i get the below either 1 router so will make the wireless connection and signal strong?

RT-AC66U Dark Knight Rises

RT-N56U Wireless-N Dual-Band Router

any diff?

yes

AC66U key point is.. it supports ac lo.

N56U key point is... its cheaper than AC66U and it only supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz

if you keep getting dc, and the range is unobstructed or not too far off from the DVG-N5402SP, my advise is - get starhub to replace a unit for u

The range quite far and obstructed by wall?

For wireless wise, which one will be better for improve the signal and speed?

huawei router bad?

sounds like issues with huawei router.
do they issue other routers? i.e. without us having to pay extra?

apart from that, is speed cap to international sites still enforced? :s11:

thinking of maxfinity, just for hubclub discounts. but wanna know if its worth it.

btw, cable used to be shared bandwidth with the block - fiber also shared?

thanks in advance
