You should check with SH directly. I only paid around $56 when I had 4 months left with my contract.

Oh that cheap... If pay about 200 to 300 still cheap compare to use it for 1 yr ... I will called and check...

The starhub guy came down and do troubleshooting, it found that the Router is ok and nothin wrong with it. cos he wired his laptop and did the speedtest and get 96Mbps to 106Mbps. but mine Wired desktop get 50+ Mbps.

So he go into safemode on my desktop, and did the test. guess what, i get 99Mbps to 110 Mbps. he told me because my desktop got lot program running and take up memory. that the reason it slow down the speed. he advise me to stop some program if u are nt using. do a virus scan, spyware, adware scan. which i did. but is same i can't get 90mbps and above. decided backup my data and reformat...

After reformatted, Did a speedtest, finally can get 90++ Mbps.. and install all application. did a scan again, it back to 50+Mbps. and finally i know what is the MAIN PROBLEM!!.... It my ANTIVIRUS "AVAST"... troubleshooting myself.. and i figure it out that under Avast antivirus, there is a "web shield". stop that application. and it will back to 90++ Mbps. so for those who can't get 90 plus Mbps, check ur antivirus. it might be ur antivirus. you also can go to "safemode with networking" and did a speedtest. it should be above 90 Mbps.

i did a speedtest wireless using laptop, Just beside router and i get 50 +MBps. i go to my bedroom, it drop to 20++ Mbps.for Iphone, beside router i tested i get 20+Mbps, my bedroom i get 10+Mbps.

any HWZ bro can recommend a good range and good speed router? or should i get homeplug???

I sign last year end lar... Up only I cheong to sh and sign... That's why kena carrot... Pui..

This year the price drop so much.... I wanna so call upgrade to 100Mbps... Ask me pay $128++... I told them go fly kite .... ... Might as well sign another ISP... Also pay same price and i get 2 ISP....

Guess do what most of us do... Get a decent router.... Asus 56u or 66u.... Call sh and tell them u wanna connect your new asus router to the ont.... They will take sometime to do some stuff backend... After that, should be okay.... If not, then I don't know already..... But of course if can do wired connection will be bestest...

Not to mention $62 monthly internet + $2 DVH.

Ping has been on the high side for me. 11 more months to break 24 months.
but roughly march IT Show 2013 i'll get the 2nd port prepped up for MR/VQ liao. guess I'll just bite the bullet and endure for 6 more months.

what is wrong with SH Fib? I got no issues after using my own router
