I don't think i have an obligation to listen to what you expect me to do. Are all apple users like that? Assuming they have authority over others? Tsk.

if you are feeling hurt over the pain yet truthful comment, simply ignore me. enough said.

No point going on and on telling me what to do. I don't remember telling you what to do right?

thanks.

okay. still be naise. ;)

thanks.

Anyone else having issues with their internet? I have had no connection since early morning. The internet light on the Huawei router is red while the lights on the fiber box are green.

is your fibre cable not connected properly or being entangled? do check.

otherwise, call Starhub.

the wireless range for DVG-N5402SP is damn weak....
I would like to buy additional wireless router to link with this DVG-N5402SP by using below guide....

Music.Photo.Life.: A StarHub MaxInfinity Situation: Use Your Own Router

any recommended wireless router?
if u have voice then LL stick to this set up if not direct ONT is best. If still want voice then u need to buy a cable modem that support it just for voice.
My experience with dual band routers are they are not magic. Due to higher frequency. The transmission distance is shorter. So if ur current reception is lousy..getting a dual band doesn't make it better for sure. What u may gain from a need router is it has better transmitting power so u receive better. You wont get 5ghz when u r far away.
Ya Asus is the now sure good router.

Dear all,

Very new here, hence hope someone can help me out.

Just installed the 150mps maxinfinity elite plan yesterday. Router is D-link DVG-N5402SP.

Works fine downstairs (i stay HDB EM) - speed was 65mps

However, when i go upstairs, i can't connect or even so, it's agonizingly slow at a constant 1.0mps

My room is upstairs. Hence, is there any way to boost the speed? Thanks

What is the average speed of 150 Mbps (Wired)? Not wireless. Thanks!

Using DVG-N5402SP wireless gateway

Please advice :s8:

1. update adapter drivers
2. go adapter properties to change to 20/40MHz
3. go router and set wireless to 40MHz

Any SH Fiber users here owns a PS3? Need help to test something. Recently I have been having issues trying to download game trailers from our local PSN store. Game demos and DLC stuffs seems ok. Ironically only game videos seems to be giving the problem. Try downloading one of the more recent game trailers like Ninja Gaiden or One Piece and see if you can get it downloaded successfully or do you get HTTP Error 400 return code. Appreciate if someone here can help test on your end. :s12:

Guys, right now I managed to link my singtel 2wire modem to act as a wifi router for my starhub d'link modem.

The 2wire wifi signal is definitely better than both starhub new d'link and singtel PACE wifi/modem.

The ping is much lower.

I am wondering if I opt for direct ONT, would I be able to use only my 2wire, omitting the d'link modem? Would the DV work as well?

Thanks.

How do you do it? Step by step?
