I have the same issue on wired and wireless using my N66u with stock latest firmware and default settings. I encounter the same issue even when I use RMerlin's firmware.

No such issues with direct connection though.

Same thing happening now. It is Starhub ADSL (I'm using fibre) now. IP address completely different.

FFXIV mark it as suspicious activity and account reset again.

Is unotelly blocked on Starhub? Think my SH line cannot access.. anyone else can confirm?

Yes, it is blocked! I have both SH 200 Fiber and VQ 200 Fiber at home.. Only could watch through VQ.

And PPTV, SOHU, apps on my Android TV box has limited contents when connected through SH. But when connected through VQ, i have all the latest movies, HK, Korea and china TV shows!!

They have to look after their own interest as SH is providing cable tv as well!!

For ppl who wants to stream contents from US & China, avoid SH.

you will need to do the following.
Reset router. Did it connect?
Use another pc or laptops connect lan does it wotk?
Change cable does it work?
If all no you need new router.

if you cannot connect your ONT via lan, you need to call up CSO. Maybe they have not yet do direct ont for you.

Same issue here, Starhub can't access some of the drama websites. Unblock-us even told me directly that Starhub is not "friendly" with their service. I also had issues with Unotelly on Starhub but not on my singnet line, can't figure out why.

Advise on router upgrade for Starhub 100M fibre

Hi all,

I am subscribed to the Starhub 100M fibre plan, but most of the time I am only able to get 20M - 40M via my laptop through wi-fi.

Thus I am thinking of upgrading the router (currently I am using the default old router from SH). I have browsed through the forum and a lot of users are recommending the ASUS RT-N66U ($239).

But the guy at the tech show recommended me the RT-AC56U (which selling at $259). There is also a cheaper model RT-N56U at $159 (almost $100 cheaper).

I am living in a small HDB 3 room about 69sqm, so can anyone advise me which ASUS model should I considered and what are the main differences. If their speed are all about the same, then I would love to buy the cheaper one though, as budget constraint. Thanks all.

The N56U is sufficient for your needs. AC56U is only useful if you have a AC compatible wireless card or adapter. The N66U is just more icing on the cake, and since you are living in a small HDB flat, you don't have to worry about poor coverage.

It also depends on where you put your router. If it is in the living room then most likely your master bedroom (i assume it is the furthest room away since i do not know your house layout) will still be getting miserable speed. I'm no expert in this area but if you can provide more info and what kind of speed you want to achieve then maybe someone else can help.
