and it's not just just sites that cannot be contacted, it's slowness gernerally!!!!!!...

I wouldn't say they are myopic. More like our IDA is useless.

If they got any teeth and go after any ISP for reasons on why there are disuptions and how long it takes to recover and why, did they inform customers, we will see the Customer Service of ISPs fly.

Right now it is like they just sit there and wait for complains to come to them.

if it's internaltional routing problem they prolly know about it, which is why they too are keeping quiet.

best part maybe they are the ones to tell the ISPs to halt on corp comms till they figure everything out.

I thought I am the one facing the problem, keep calling Starhub but not answering... internet is like half dead, a lot of website can't access... can earlier end contract? Will Singtel or M1 facing same problem?

nah, why would we want to route to that area when it's typically a 3rd/4rd world country with no QOS. anytime anything can happen. lol

I appreciate the fact it may not be STarhub's direct problem but the fact that their customers are impacted by this they should at least issue an official comms on their website, or facebook or some other means but NO, nothing.....

customer service 101 : make sure your customers know what's going on, manage their expections and keep them informed of progress.

so far, NOTHING, ZERO... goodness this is stupid!

perhaps you are routing via another exchange or something. Perhaps those in CBD, orchard route through another link via another country? think about it, CBD circuits normally officies, which means need more reliable links / routing.... us in the so called "towns" routed via routes that cost less.
