1. Check that your NIC port speed is 1 gig and not 10/100
2. Check that your cable is Cat 5e or above and not Cat 5.
The reasons for the above: I complained vociferously to StarHub when I was on the 300 plan and could only get < 100. After a process of elimination, I realised that (1) the cable I was using was Cat 5 and (2) the USB-ethernet adapter I was using on the Macbook Pro was limited to 100. Changed the cable, changed to a thunderbolt-ethernet adapter and the problem went away.
My most recent speedtest, this morning, on a D-Link 868, using native AC:

(and yes, I'm very familiar with the difference between an ONT and a wifi router; you did the right thing by clarifying as you're right to assume that not everyone understands the difference).
Wow ... what plan are u on? U should not be getting this on 300M plan unless Starhub is also providing speed boost.

Your download via wireless is higher than wired?
my direct wired connection to the ONT is around 280 to 300mbps
Did you do anything? cause your screenshots yesterday was getting getting around 78mbps
anyone facing problems with the wireless router that starhub provides? i get intermittent disconnections throughout the day. i wonder if it's the router's problem and whether i should just get my own router.
starhub came and changed the router twice but still got the same issue, wanted them to change the fibre modem but they said it's definitely not the modem's fault if there is a connection.
