Does the starhub 100 Mbps offer at 29.90/month come with free data sim for 24 months?

For those who received it, is it a SIM card or USB type?

Moi looking for a router that accept broadband(sim) and can do vpn or ssh

tested it many many times.. with laptop direct to ont also...

initial few mins after you plug in the network cable to ont.. can hit 500mbps max.. after that.. it drop to around 220..

there's some traffic shapping involved... but since this is day 1 of installation, i will see how it goes for the next few days...

Hi all,

Pardon me this networking noob.

Have attached at URL to show the floorplan coz I can't insert the URL direct.

(insert h t t p:// here)i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss99/lovingcooking/FloorPlan.jpg

Currently I have a few blind spots in the house, namely the Main Bedroom and the service balcony. The red X is where the TP/ONT is at. I wish to place another router at where the blue XX is to increase the wifi coverage.

Unfortunately no chance of running another cable to the blue XX point.

Thank you all for your help and opinions!

What is your broadband plan speed?
You can try homeplugs from X to XX, or
Get another router at X, set up wireless bridge to XX.

Thanks for helping with the image.

Speed is 100MBPS fibre.

When you say set up another router, do you mean

TP => ONT => Router @ X and then setup wireless bridge to XX?

Yes, for your case, it should be wireless bridge + AP at XX.

Just a point to note. Those who are on maxinfinity elite is 150mbps.
But when u recontract they will give u price equivalent of 39.90 without telling u the speed is 100mbps. Next tier is 300mbps at 49.90
