My current setup:
ONT->DVG-N5402SP (+Digital voice)->N56U

Is my network performance bottleneck by DVG-N5402SP?

have to see your hdb layout leh, me and my colleague both have asus ac68u at home , he can get full bar wireless across his whole flat but 2 of my own bedrooms cannot get even one bar most of the time.

we both put our asus router at the living room but somehow mine doesnt have full coverage and need to use homeplugs to extend coverage.....

what asus promised is based on theory nia la

Coverage != 5Ghz. It can be 2.4Ghz

Any idea what is the wireless ac router starhub is giving? As I'm switching from another provider, do I have to terminate my existing one first or starhub will terminate for me?

For 500Mbps - D-Link DIR-868L
For other fibre plans - D-Link DIR-865L

You have to terminate your existing service yourself. It's best to wait for the new service to be up and running before you terminate the old one (a bit of overlap is better than no internet for a while).
