Hi, got a few questions on this stashaway before I open the account
1. I understand 36% is the highest risk so does that means all will be in US stocks ?
2. Can fund using srs ?
3. How are the fees charged ? I know there is an 0.8% fee based on investment amount. So is it charged on an annual basis?
1) Nope. The 36% portfolio is: 12-18% IJR, XLY and 7-11% XLV. Total US ETFs about 50% thereabout. Gold (GLD) is 16-24%. VNQI is 6-8%. Rest is international equity. AAXJ (5-7%), SPEM (6-8%) and KWEB (16-24%). So you get pretty decent exposure to China tech stocks too.
2) Yes, all portfolios can be funded using SRS or Cash.
Wow 30%any idea how to check what’s my potential return percentage?
I don't think there's a way to check potential return percentage when creating the portfolio. They only have those standard projection type of chart.
Thanks for sharing your experience, will you be able to to share your average risk index used over the last 3 years which helped to achieve the 17%?
For what it's worth, I currently have my money split between a 16% portfolio and a 30% portfolio. It's only been about a year, so the difference in returns isn't that huge. My 'safer' portfolio has 12.3% returns, while the 'riskier' 30% portfolio is at 13.43%.
