You basically bought on market low and the market rose. No big deal.

Don't need to attribute your gains with stashaway. Please.

Sent you my referral link, check your PM. :)

I have already downloaded the app before you sent me the link. I went to More>>Promotions>>Enter promotion code and keyed in the code after "/" of your link and it says "Promotion code is not applicable".

would contacting customer service help?

Yes, you would need to contact the CSO for them to update the referral promotion via their backend since you have missed the typical referral workflow.

As a test, I have set my my one-time deposit to be S$3, to be fully allocated to my one investment portfolio. But I didn't realise the deposit amount must be $3 when I initiate the transfer from my bank (this is the correct way right?). I made 2 FAST transfers of $2, and another PayNow transfer of $3.
Would my deposits be stuck somewhere?

For one-time deposits, yes. Only the $3 transfer will go through. Their Customer Service officer will contact you to refund the other transfers. For one-time deposits, it must be exact.

For monthly deposit via Standing Instruction, don't need exact. For example, you can set $100 for your monthly deposit plan on Stashaway, but then standing instruction $25 transfer every week, for example, and it'll still go through.

Thanks. If I want to make standing instruction for daily deposits of $10, which one should I set up?
One time deposit of $10 - then each standing instruction deposit of $10 will be taken as one-time deposit and go thru'?
Or mthly deposit of $310 dollars - months with less than 31 days will have less amount deposited.
Should be fine either way?

If you want to transfer $10 daily via standing instruction, then you must set the monthly deposit plan as $310. If you set one-time deposit as $10, the first deposit will go through, but the others won't. Unless you want to log in and set $10 one-time deposit everyday.. Haha.

Sianz stashaway overweight gold but not doing well

Yeah, hopefully they re-optimise back to no gold at 36% portfolio, or at least lower it. 20% gold even in the 36% portfolio a bit too much, in my opinion. 5% would be just nice for the 36% portfolio.

Regardless, still very satisfied with what I'm earning. Right now at 15% TWR. Even during the occasional dips, I still maintain over 10% time weighted returns, so not too bad.

After using SA for 6 months, I am thinking if it is worthwhile to keep the portfolio inside.... cause they are constantly deducting me fees :(

I feel a little uneasy with the gold overweight, then again they probably know what they are doing. Need to rely on such assets to buffer down days.

What fully sold me from SA was their actual drawdown incurred vs their risk level was quite zhun. Their risk models are probably top notch.

What you mean drawdown and risk level ah? For example, 36% portfolio, the drawdown during March was around 36% also?

Choose a different portfolio?
Or a different Robo?

Anyway, I doubt very many people were complaining about the overweight to Gold in early August when the gold prices shot up... IIRC, they increased the weight of Gold in their portfolios in June.
