Depends on your risk profile and time horizon.

If you can stomach large fluctuations there’s risk profile 30 (highest risk) available

Which portfolio are recommended?
I just started not long, current Core portfolio with 15% risk.

Just opened a account and loaded it with $500. Will see how it goes :).

Also just realized there's a referrer link, should have asked folks here first instead of rush to sign up :D
Either way, i got my own link now. Anyone who is opening an account can message me for both our benefits.

Because USD is depreciating against SGD recently. This is the exchange risk when we buy US equity

I don't understand leiz.. even if worse case 1usd = 1.3sgd, it will be ard $130sgd.. now $71(they just updated), it's only 55%.. so their conversion fees is 45%?

This is how it works:
Assume u start invest with SGD5000, the exchange rate was 1.37, so u got USD3649.6 to invest.
This USD3649.6 grow USD100 become USD3749.6 (USD100 gain).

Now USD3749.6 convert back to SGD at 1.35, u get SGD5062, that is SGD62 gain (5062-5000).

So yr total gain in USD is 100 (3749-3649) but SGD is 62 (5062-5000). when exchange rate go back to 1.37, u will get back yr SGD137 return.

I tried my best to explain liao. If still can't understand, u need to call Stashaway liao

Oh.. I understand now.. thanks!! It's value of whole portfolio converted.. so paper profit doesn't matter.. what matters is the current fx..

Any stashaway expert knows whether srs portfolio adds to the total balance for calculation of fee? Or calculated separate from Cash portfolio?

Wouldn't it be faster if you just ask StashAway directly and contribute back to the forum?

I have both SRS and Cash, but so far i got no sales charge due to referral of each successful investor of $10k, and I had a few referral, thus no charges for many months :s22: :s13: :s13:

From the looks of the statement, looks like cash and SRS are lump together with tiered pricing but do clarify.

Have already asked but no reply yet so posted here

Referral means totally no fee for X months or no fee for first $Y for the X months?

Contacted stashaway before. Each referral $10k for 6 months is for total balance (cash + srs) excluding cash management portfolio.
