I had the exact opposite of your problem, except that I'm using the Allshare Cast Dongle. It wasn't working initially, then suddenly started working.

Are you using the black MHL adapter or the white MHL 2.0 adapter? I use the black one (relic from my S3 LTE) from time to time and realize that it's very sensitive to how tightly it's plugged in. Sometimes just shaking the cable can cut off the connection and stop it from working. Haven't used the white one though.

Cool bro!

Very simple.

Just go to the Apps Manager, select the app, then Clear Cache for each of those effected app.

After all that, reboot your phone.

You shall see no more problem.

No such problem at all.

Must be your setting screwed.
