Wierd? Maybe becoz i started out training years back just hitting my upper body and neglecting my lower half but a few years later i start to train everything equally so my upper body strength is way much stronger than lower body. ooppss and i didnt know that leg presses dont count ****. Frm Boxfit Fengshan here, anyone else workout there too??

Just to make sure, since you mentioned the leg press...are those lift done with a standard olympic barbell(not smith machine), and done with full ROM(i.e. for bench - bar touches chest, for squat - ATG, for deadlift(full extension/lockout at the top)?

yeah. gotto hit the legs much harder and bring the numbers us. and yea galapogos, the leg press that i do are the seated ones where u can pile on 20kg plates from both sides and top and i do em in full range of motion till knee touches my chest. all the way guys!

I was talking about the barbell lifts when mentioning full ROM, not the leg press. In fact in the leg press you don't want to have full ROM since when your knee touches your chest, you are almost guaranteed to be in lumbar flexion, which is the last thing you want when you have 320kg piled on you.

Bodyweight:93kg

Stats for my current Big 4

Front squats:1 x 110kg

Farmers deadlifts: 1 x100kg in each hand

Weighted chins(overhand grip): 1 x40kg

Log press(clean and push press): 1 x 85kg

Goals for my Big 4 by end of June

Front squats:1 x 120kg

Farmers deadlifts: 1 x110kg in each hand

Weighted chins: 1 x45kg

Log press:1 x 90kg

Will update in 2 weeks time.

Wah yall should start another thread for the other non-powerlifting lifts. I can't list those anywhere in the official stats :)

Bench: 55kg
Squat: 100kg

oh gosh, is it that bad to get the knees to touch the chest? coz i wasnt doing it all the way till Halim Haron the Singapore champ told me that i should go all the way down to get the full benefits.

Yes, it's bad. Champs may do what they feel work the best for them, but they rarely go in depth enough to truly know what works best for most people without causing potential injury.
