Stay which hotel?

In Feb, I'd be going to Taiwan for a 8days7nights trip.
Where should I stay sia? Any recommendation for hotel near XMD?

IMHO, should stay near Taipei Main Station for convenience sake. Take bus from airport stop at TMS, want go back time the bus terminal is beside TMS..

Cityinn I

Cityinn II/III(Some 6-10mins walk away)

Rainbow Hotel
East Dragon
Cityinn Plus
ECFA
Q-Stay
etc etc

Caesar Park Hotel at TMS exit 6. This hotel is a little bit more expensive.

Yup..There's nothing fantastic if you stay near TMS, main reason is for the convenience sake..

I only drop by XMD for about 15mins on my last trip..

1. Many places in Taiwan makes one feel pathetic living in SG, eg. wulai, jiufeng, taroko gorge, to name a few.

2. shifen or pingxi

3. longshan temple south of xmd.

If got budget can stay Boutique business hotel, The Tango@Nanshi at Zhongshan MRT station. Mrt is right at the doorstep, 1 stop to Taipei main station.

Shinko mitsukoshi(新光三越) dept store just opp, Daiso, starbucks and a rather quiet area.
Can walk to Ninxa nite market

Classy furnishing, prompt and good room service, see through bathroom with tv/music touchscreen while soaking in jacuzzi bathtub, Wifi in room with surround sound home theatre system.

Damage will be 3750NT per nite + breakfast, stayed there last 2 weeks for business.
Total comfort and convenience, they also cater Mercs airport transfer @ 1500NT per trip.
