buying STI ETF under $3 will give you a 'margin of safety'
I keep my average price of STI ETF under $3, and just hold and collect dividends.
I agree with you. I think in your case you have substantial portion is equities and not much in debt. So within equities, you choose "safe" high dividend yield and more riskier growth, kind of complementing each other.
In my case I have substantial amounts of "safe" fixed income. Equity part is only 35%. So I think that equity portion, I should allocate to more growth markets like Asia and US.
